Chelsea is an experienced leader with expertise in finance, operations, software development, and marketing. She joined Atento Capital in fall 2023 as managing director, and transitioned to a part-time advisor role in early 2025. Prior to joining Atento, she spent 20 years at Penguin Random House, the market-leading book publisher in New York with over $2 billion in annual sales. At Penguin Random House, she worked in corporate development, divisional finance, ecommerce, online marketing, and operations.

Chelsea earned her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. Prior to Wharton, she worked as an editor at Ten Speed Press in Berkeley, California, where she edited two books that earned James Beard Awards, and at W. W. Norton & Company in New York City, where she contributed research for a book that won a Pulitzer Prize.

Chelsea is a Tulsa native and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and Yale University in addition to Wharton.
